A journey of a young man from a humble family of Lahore, Pakistan to a successful first generation industrialist who has been a source of inspiration for many others apart from his own blood. A man of his words, not did he only build the Delite family and his own personal family, but many others from scratch. A man whose willpower was too strong to be taken down by any storm but to only strike back stronger.

A visionary and a pioneer of his work, he began his journey with the humble start of Delite safe works, the inventor of security safes of those times. In the ’50s when people were not very optimistic about the future of the nation, he was busy delivering security safes on his bicycle. He was a true believer of fate but a greater believer of hard work, he was a true “karam yogi”. His words were not just words, preaches which were not just preaches, but actions which were stronger than conviction. A workaholic who amazed the entire family with his spirit which resembles his work of steel furniture.

He was a person who believed in quality over quantity and delivered quality with his own hands. He initially only specialised in steel safes, almirahas and racks. He had a vision for the brand which in its later generations expanded with multiple plants and multiple products specific to office furniture. The initial incepted brand Delite Safe Works was most popular for its Super and Classic Steel Almirahas model, whose quality & hallmark was personally guaranteed by his own name, Brij Mohan Bhatia.

The brand developed manifold in times ahead and is today one of the largest players in office furniture solutions, under the newly christened Delite Hi Tech.
